FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What the freak is “Rash Gash”. Does it mean what I think it means?
A: NO! It’s an expression in Hebrew that means ruckus, hullabaloo. The literal meaning is volcanic noise.
Q: Where is your store located?
A: You’re in it right now. Currently we are only an online store, however, we do plan to open a storefront in the near future.
Q: Well then, how can we try out the guitars?
A: Drop us a line, by email, instant messenger or phone and we’ll invite you over to our home office to try them out. We’re not ashamed to be small business with a big attitude and we’d love to show off our stuff.
Q: Why don’t you have well known brand name guitars like other guitar stores in Israel?
A: We don’t want to be stereotyped, we don’t want to be classified, we don’t want be a clone. We don’t want to be another generic store with generic guitars, amps and effects. We want you to be able to get crazy, whack, bad ass shit that nobody else has.
Q: That’s great and all, but I’ve never heard of these companies, so why should I shell out the dough?
A: Without badmouthing any of the mainstream guitar companies, I will say that you usually pay between 40%-60% for the brand name.
What that means is that if you buy an $1000 brand name guitar, it’s workmanship and sound will be pretty close to a $400-$600 non brand name guitar (in most cases, there are always exceptions). We only deal guitars we love and believe in, and you always get the most bang for your buck with our guitars. But don’t take our word for it, come over and see for yourself.
Q: Is it true you have girl guitars?
A: True it is. Daisy Rock make guitars for girls. Their necks are thinner and narrower and their bodies are lighter. Some of the guitars are absolutely feminine, and some are easily unisex. Anyway you look at it, the guitars have hot pickups, making them all rock guitars to the bone.
Q: How much does shipping cost inside of Israel?
A: 0 NIS. Shipping is FREE.
Q: Do you ship outside of Israel?
A: Not at this stage, but we’re contemplating it, so try to convince us. Just tell us where in the world you live and what you’re interested in, and we’ll try to look at the big picture.
Q: Can I order an out of stock item?
A: Not at this point. If there’s something specific you’re looking for, give us a call and we’ll talk over the options.
Q: Why don’t you import X guitars, Y amps and X effects?
A: We’re always looking out for guitar related manufacturers that fit our ideology, and we found a lot at the NAMM show this year, so prepare yourselves for some kick ass shit!
Q: What does your List Price constitute?
A: Our List Price is based on the Manufacturers List Price (MLP) and Israeli VAT and customs.
Q: Why should I buy anything from your site, isn’t it cheaper outside of Israel?
A: First off, our prices usually aren’t much higher than online sites in the US (and ours include 16.5% VAT). Secondly, you spare yourself the headache of importing a guitar to Israel by yourself (legally by paying VAT, or smuggling it in and avoiding the payment). Thirdly, we offer you a viable warranty for guitars, amps and effects. Beyond that, if you order from us you get your guitar within a few days and you can return within 14 days if for some strange reason you don’t want it.
Q: Why don’t you have any Classical/Acoustic guitars?
A: Honestly, it’s not really our thing. We do have one acoustic model, the Daisy Rock Pixie Acoustic. We’ll probably have more in the future, but it will never be our main thing.
Q: How about amplifiers, why don’t you have any amps? how do you explain that?
A: Be patient, we have an evil plan to bring some of the nastiest (and sweetest) amps on the guitar market today. Just sit tight.
Q: You should have more basses, us bassists like crazy ass shit.
A: Although that’s not a question, I agree. We have some tricks up our sleeves for you too.
Q: What about us lefties? We make up approximately 10% of the worlds population.
A: True, but you guys know how to deal with right-handed guitars. However, we do have one lefty guitar, a lefthanded DiPinto Mach IV. If you are bothered by the fact that we don’t have more lefty guitars, call us up, that way we’ll know how many to order next time.
