Manta Ray HB

Warm and sweet, with the acoustic richness and complex overtones only a full size semi-hollow can deliver. The bridge pickup is slightly hotter than a vintage PAF, and the neck pickup is slightly cleaner. Round enough for Jazz, but this ray can sting too, with plenty of sustain and attack for Rock or Blues. The 1 3/4" body and flat top gives it a clean, fresh look, and yields a light and manageable instrument.

Solid wood construction is featured throughout, with no plywood. The back, sides, and center block are produced from one slab of mahogany that is routed from the top, and then capped with a solid maple top. Excellent sustain and attack are coupled with substanial resonance for a uniquely big and responsive tone.
