Angel 2 Cutaway w/Pickup

Cole Clark has recently introduced the Angel. Just as the Fat Lady series was a slightly different take on the conventional dreadnought shape, the Angel is an individual interpretation of the auditorium shape. The body shape lends itself more to finger style than the FLs but its powerful bass response makes it a pleasing strummer.

The Angel boasts killer looks with its ‘striped’ fingerboard.The most striking feature of this guitar is the combination of woods. The Bunya pine soundboard looks amazing and has similar tonal properties to solid spruce with a sweet top end.

Unusually, the timbers used for the sides and back differ – solid rosewood for the sides and Queenland Maple for the back – a bit quirky but it seems to work ! A very comfortable and sweet sounding guitar which is also great plugged in thanks to the Cole Clark face brace system.
